Your first full day in Swakopmund begins with a hearty fuelling at breakfast at the hotel before you head out to the oldest desert in the world – the Namib Desert – to discover the phenomenal creatures found surviving and thriving in the dry desert. Your second morning takes you cruising on the Namibian Sea to see Benguela dolphins, Cape fur seals, bottlenose dolphins and, depending on the season, humpback whales and leatherback turtles. And your third day of exploration merges everything you’ve seen on the first two days with a trip to Skeleton Coast – where desert meets sea. Here you will reconnoitre the daunting dunes on a Sandwich Harbour 4x4 Tour before enjoying delightful oysters and champagne in the desert by the sea.
