Here you can spend the rest of the day settling in and exploring the area at your leisure or choose from optional activities such as an intriguing gin-tasting experience, a ferry ride over to the 18th-century fortress in Suomelina, or a dinner at one of six Michelin Star restaurants in the city

Positioned perfectly to enjoy the impeccable nature that surrounds you and experience activities unique to this part of the country, your first day begins with an exciting dog-sledding adventure and ends with a hunt for the coveted scenes of the Northern Lights. Over the next three days here, you will have dinner at the iconic Ice Restaurant, newly carved each year for a constantly changing appearance; go ice fishing on a frozen lake; ride a snowmobile through the snowy wilderness; and cross the Arctic Circle to visit the official residence of Santa Claus and his reindeers for an enchantingly festive experience.
