Post Trip Break-away: Guilin, Yangshuo & Longsheng

Into the Heart of the Karst Peaks: Your journey begins with a 3-hour flight from Shanghai to Guilin. Upon arrival, meet your expert guide and dive straight into the local culture with a bowl of the city's legendary Guilin rice noodles. We’ll transfer to Yangshuo for an unforgettable afternoon of bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. Drift through the breathtaking karst scenery—the largest branch of the Li River—before checking into your mountain retreat.

Thrills, Peaks, and Village Life: Today is for the brave! We head to Ruyi Peak to conquer the exhilarating rope bridge and glass skywalk, offering bird's-eye views of the limestone forest. After a fresh local lunch, swap the heights for a bicycle tour through the peaceful southern villages of Yangshuo. You’ll pedal past emerald paddies and water buffalo before visiting a local couple in their traditional home to learn about their timeless philosophy of living.

Optional Evening Activity: The spectacular "Impression Liu Sanjie" light show.

The Dragon’s Backbone: Travel deep into the mountains to the Longji Rice Terraces, a 2.5-hour scenic drive away. These "Dragon Backbone" terraces are a marvel of ancient farm engineering. After checking into your hotel and enjoying lunch, spend the afternoon hiking through the Ping’an area at your own pace, soaking in the views of the world's most beautiful agricultural phenomena.

After a final morning in the fresh mountain air, you’ll transfer back to Guilin for your flight to Shanghai. Reflect on your journey from the peaks to the paddies as you begin your smooth journey home.
